A Broadened Scope of Practice for Nurse Practitioners

Posted by INRC

The scope of practice has been broadened, removing the requirement that nurse practitioners register in a specific area of practice.

The International Nurse Regulator Collaborative (INRC) is a collaboration between nursing regulatory organizations throughout the world. Since INRC was formed in 2011, our member organizations have worked together to promote research and share intelligence to evolve nursing regulations for public protection. Last year, we recognized that it was time to develop a site that reflected our commitment to public safety, health and welfare. With great thought and intentionality, we’ve created an organized space for member and nonmember organizations alike to find member contact information, browse resources and news items related to nursing licensure and regulations, and read more about INRC’s mission and foundation.
